Alright.
Let's have another healthy outing. Though my nature walk didn't work out in the end, but I promise it will be soon.
Date: 16th November 2008, Sunday (PLEASE note the day, Xtian =P)
Time: Unconfirmed (have to see when you guys are free, which I guess, before dinner again)
Here are some suggested activities:
1. Fooling around @ Jurong Wave PoolDon't know if you guys have been before, but it has been a long time since any of us went, I guess. Ya, that was what I intended for. But then, it's really hard planning for a water outing if we go in a group. You guys know what I mean.
Here are some photos of the place if you guys havent been there before:
http://www.sgwayoflife.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2134&p=4683I guess we all need to relieve some childhood times now and then, and get into the sun (if there's one). Not forgetting, we can do some healthy swims, and sit in the jacuzzi. if there's space. haha.
2. Exploration of the Marina BarrageYup, in case you guys were too busy to notice, the Marina Barrage is fully opened! Okay, I don't really know what's there to do though, other than kayaking and paddling, which I am sure we can still do even if we kena that thing.
Other than that, we can visit the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at the Marina Barrage, which looks really interesting with all the water drops. You can see more here:
http://www.pub.gov.sg/marina/gallery/Pages/default.aspxAnd we can go walk around Marina Barrage, and make our way from Marina South to Marina East, wherever that is. Haha. Have a nature walk, immerse ourselves in the view of the city skyline, and enjoy something new.
3. Wet Weather PlanSad as it might sound, but we always have to plan for wet weather, especially in this monsoon season. So even if we stay indoors, we should still do something healthy!
That is, playing badminton! Haha =P Its the only indoor sport I can think of, other than gymming, or table tennis (which I dunno). Squash is a little hard because of lack of rackets, and its quite hard to find squash courts in Singapore. Tennis is good, but it's outdoors. Boo.
Okay, that's all I have. Shall keep the rest of the ideas for the next outing. =)
